IPrium releases J.83 Annex B Cable Modulator
FOGGIA, Italy, August 06, 2019 - FPGA intellectual property (IP) provider IPrium LLC (www.iprium.com) has today announced that it has expanded its family of DTV Modulator IP products with a new J.83 Annex B Modulator IP Core for USA cable TV broadcasting.
The IP Core is a complete digital 64-QAM/256-QAM modulator with an integrated RS/Trellis Forward Error Correction (FEC), Scrambler, Interleaver, TS Interface.
The J.83B Modulator is silicon-proven and is fully compliant with ITU-T J.83 Annex B (12/2007) standard.
The IP Core provides a turnkey single-chip solution that can be used in DTV applications.
Pricing and Availability
The J.83 Annex B Cable Modulator IP Core is available immediately in synthesizable Verilog or optimized netlist format, along with synthesis scripts and a simulation test bench with expected results.
